Founded in 1966, the original mission of this school was to serve the expatriate community of Zagreb who wished to have an English language education. Today they have students from 37 different nationalities, 15% of which are Croatian. The school offers an international IB diploma program, as well as programs from smaller children.
The video clip from Croatian INNOSOC students provides general information about Croatia and two Croatian universities: University of Zagreb and Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. The students also present their faculties: Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Zagreb and Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Osijek.

A group of nineteen students from Meiji Gakuin University (MGU) in Tokyo spent their Fall 2015 semester studying abroad at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. This exchange is a result of ZSEM's efforts to develop its international cooperation with renowned universities around the world, notably those in Asia. MGU students arrived early in Zagreb and took a 2-week Intensive Business English course in order to best prepare themselves for a semester of classes taught in English. They self-selected their courses for the semester, while all nineteen students took a Croatian Studies class. During the Croatian studies course, students learned about the Croatian culture and they visited the Embassy of Japan in Zagreb, the Croatian Parliament and numerous local businesses.
Spring has arrived and we pop up to Zagreb for a day - Balkan Life First few REAL sunny days and work has started in the garden. Tamara and I gor for Čevap in Laktaši followed by an evening out in Banja Luka and the following day take the bus to Zagreb, as I have an early flight to Amsterdam the next day. Sadness and disappointment too as we realise our once FAVE Chinese restaurant in Zagreb is now quite rubbish. Zagreb is the political and cultural heart of Croatia, an amiable capital city located at the intersection of Central, Eastern and Southern Europe and a city that holds many memories of the Danube Monarchy. Zagreb originated in the Middle Ages from two rival settlements on neighbouring hills, the bishop's seat of Kaptol which is dominated by its cathedral and the free city of Gradec which was its political centre. They both formed the city’s Upper Town. The cathedral dominates the Kaptol district, its two steeples towering above the old city. The city’s marvellous Botanical Garden contains an array of wonderful natural sights. It boasts ten thousand tree and plant varieties including alpine, Mediterranean, and the exotic. Small ponds with water plants are also included in the four point...

Zagreb was the second city I explored on my two-week trip around Croatia. Learned how to ride the trams the hard way, ate some strawberries in the central square, walked through a flower market, watched people light candles and pray next to a magical painting, and visited the Museum of Broken Relationships. Croatia is located in the south of central Europe, nestled between Slovenia and Bosnia and Zagreb is the Countries capital. An old city dating back to 1094 A.D. The old historic town is divided between the newer more modern city which is conveniently accessed by a new modern electric tram railway system. Its filled with universities, museums, galleries and monuments throughout the city. A place with no shortage of outdoor cafes, festivals, and concerts. It's a very clean and quiet place to socialize and explore the history and culture of the Croatia heritage. I came here as part of my travels to live and experience this magnificent place while maintaining a $20/day meal budget. It wasn't difficult since there was an abundance of options to choose from. I found this place to be interesting...
